Dressing and playing with Barbie dolls occupies much of Amanda’s free time. Amanda eagerly looks forward to “playtime” however; she does best when engaged in structured activities. Bowling, swimming and attending movies are favorites. She needs reminders to stay on task. Nine year old Amanda responds well to praise from adults. Amanda achieves at age appropriate levels in school. Her teacher reports that she often volunteers for classroom tasks. Amanda hopes to join an adoptive family that will provide lots of attention and assist her to maintain a relationship with her siblings.
